Obituary for Alan Teeuwen

Alan Teeuwen
Alan L. Teeuwen, age 51 of Motley, passed away unexpectedly on May 12, 2017 at his home. Memorial service will be at 1 PM on Friday, May 19, 2017 at Halvorson Johnson Funeral Home, Baxter Chapel, with visitation 1 hour prior. In lieu of flowers, the family ask that you plant a tree in Alan’s memory or donate to your local food shelf in his honor.
Alan was born on March 15, 1966 in Minneapolis, to Dale and Patricia (Levendusky). Alan graduated from Brainerd High School in 1984. He made his living in the printing trade. He worked at Echo in Pequot Lakes, Universal in Brainerd and Mara Communication in Willmar. He lived in the woods and contracted and suffered from Lymes Disease for 10 years. He had many hobbies. He enjoyed watching trains, bow hunting, camping, ice fishing and sking. He was very artistic. He coached hockey when Jeremy was young.
Left to cherish his memory are, his son, Jeremy of Willmar; granddaughters, Kierah, Kaydence, Austynn; mother, Pat Teeuwen of Brainerd; siblings, Patti (Jaime) McDonald of Merrifield, Robbie (Debra) of Crosby; Kate (Adrian Norman) Heuer of Side Lake; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
Alan is preceded in death by his dad, and his grandparents.
